Released in 1989 on Sub Pop, God's Balls is the debut album by Seattle’s Tad, defining the sludge-heavy, early grunge sound. Produced by Jack Endino, it features punishing, industrial-tinged rock, known for "chainsaw" guitars, noisy, industrial textures, and Tad Doyle's roaring vocals, often considered heavier than their contemporaries.
