Starlite Walker (1994) is the debut album by Silver Jews, presenting a charmingly lo-fi, "junk-country" indie rock sound heavily influenced by Pavement, featuring Stephen Malkmus on guitar. It is a brief, 35-minute record that showcases David Berman’s nascent lyrical genius and witty, surreal vignettes.
