Green River played a pivotal role in Seattle's rise as a global rock powerhouse in the late 1980s. Formed in 1984 by Jeff Ament, Mark Arm, Bruce Fairweather, Stone Gossard, and Alex Shumway, the band helped shape the emerging grunge sound by blending punk, blues, and hard rock. Though short-lived, its members went on to form influential bands such as Pearl Jam, Mudhoney, and Love Battery, cementing Green River's legacy.

This collection brings together the landmark releases Dry As A Bone (1987) and Rehab Doll (1988), both long unavailable on vinyl, alongside rare archival recordings, including tracks from the iconic Deep Six compilation, alternate studio versions, and previously unreleased material.
