Released in 2019, Busyhead introduced Noah Kahan as a distinctive voice in modern singer-songwriter music. Rooted in folk and acoustic songwriting but shaped by polished pop production, the album balances introspective lyrics with warm, accessible melodies.

Most of the record was produced by New Zealand musician Joel Little, whose clean, atmospheric approach gives Kahan’s songs room to feel both intimate and expansive. Busyhead captures an artist finding his sound — personal, melodic and quietly powerful.
